Amber + Logan | Beach Wedding | Orange Beach, AL

Amber and Logan’s wedding was pure magic. With a wedding party of 24 (yes- 24!) it was basically a 12 hour party. Amber and Logan were (are) so blessed to have so many friends and family join them. From all over the US and over seas- distance was not an issue to celebrate and congratulate these love birds.

The day started with laughter and remember whens in both the girls + guys suites as everyone was getting ready. I seriously don’t think it’s possible to find another group as close as this one.

When everyone was ready, we headed to one of my favorite places on Earth for portraits- the beach. The girls made the trek in their heels shortly followed by the guys in their suits. Just imagine sand+heels or Alabama heat+tuxes. Like I said, each member of the wedding party gave 100% for Amber and Logan.

One of my favorite parts of this wedding was Amber and Logan’s commitment to Logan’s first glance of Amber being when she was walking down the aisle. However, during our planning, it became evident that we wouldn’t have time to travel back to the beach for bride+groom portraits between the ceremony and reception. And how could you have a beach wedding and not get portraits on the beach? We decided that you can’t. So, Logan was led down to the beach (where Amber was hidden by her bridesmaids- the large bridal party really came in handy!) and placed where he couldn’t see Amber or any part of her dress. We took the wedding party portraits and some bride+groom portraits WITHOUT LOGAN CATCHING A GLIMPSE OF AMBER!! Crazy harebrained scheme pulled off!

And let me tell you, it was so worth it. Logan was completely breathless as Amber walked down the aisle. They had the sweetest of ceremonies- reading letters to each other, vowing to stand by each other come whatever may. My favorite part of the ceremony had to be Logan singing “I have met an angel in person and you look perfect tonight” when Amber met him at the alter. How could you not be swooning over these two?!

After the ceremony, everyone- and I do mean everyone- partied the night away! With delicious food, ice-cold drinks, and the perfect music guests only sat down to take a short rest. The perfect day ended with a sparkler send of to the sound of ocean waves as Logan whisked Amber away to their honeymoon in St Lucia.

I have to give a huge shout out and thanks to Carol Morris of Orange Beach Weddings. I don’t know where I would have been without her. Carol is a LIFELINE for beach weddings and it is always such a joy working with her. She is an expert coordinator that can somehow make everyone’s wedding dreams come true- and stay on schedule!!
