Steven planned the perfect surprise for Sarah Grace—a proposal in the heart of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens followed by an engagement party with the people who love them most.

The Gardens were in full bloom that day, a beautiful backdrop for a moment that changed everything. Sarah Grace had no idea what was coming. She thought she and Steven were just taking a casual stroll—until he dropped to one knee. Her joy and surprise were so pure, and the ring? Stunning.

What made this moment even more special was what happened next. Her family and closest friends were waiting nearby for a surprise engagement party—but keeping the secret hadn’t been easy! Her family had traveled into town and had to keep ducking out of sight the whole morning to make sure they didn’t run into her before the big reveal.

After she said yes (of course she said yes!), the newly engaged couple walked into a celebration filled with laughter, hugs, champagne toasts, and so much love. Watching Sarah Grace’s face light up as she realized all her favorite people were there was one of those unforgettable moments I’ll always feel honored to witness.
